Jesper Kristensen is the Group CEO of Synergy Marine Group, leading its next phase of global growth and operational transformation. With 34 years at Unifeeder, including 17 as Group CEO, he brings deep expertise in shipping and customer-focused operations. Jesper is focused on safety, scale, and capability-building. Outside work, he is an avid cyclist and runner.

Umesh Shinde

With over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry, Umesh brings a wealth of expertise to his leadership role as Managing Director of Synergy Denmark A/S. Having held senior management positions at Maersk in Singapore and also Copenhagen, Umesh is widely recognized for his strong technical and marine HR background. He is dedicated to ensuring that all employees, both at sea and on shore, have a clear understanding of the company’s strategy for safe, reliable, carbon-efficient and cost-effective operations.

Peter is a Master Mariner with over 35 years of experience in global maritime operations. He has held senior leadership roles at Maersk Tankers and key technical and commercial roles in major ship management companies, where he led strategic initiatives across fleet management and commercial operations. At Synergy Denmark, Peter drives operational excellence, fosters strong client relationships, and leads regional efforts to elevate safety and performance standards.

Capt. Ravinder Singh Kohli

Responsible for running the Copenhagen office and leading Synergy’s European strategy. Since joining the company in 2008 after 16 years at sea, he has contributed significantly to Synergy’s global growth. A long-distance runner, Ravinder is also a keen epicure.

Nikolaj von Wartburg is Head of Europe at Synergy Marine Group, strengthening customer engagement and regional coordination across the continent. He brings over three decades of maritime experience across sea-going and senior shore-based roles with Maersk, TORM and Hapag-Lloyd. Having worked extensively from an owner’s perspective, he values disciplined operations, transparency and collaboration. Outside work, Nikolaj enjoys motorcycling, snowboarding and time outdoors.
